After some careless play in the Torino SSA defense, Laércio Bertassi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamin de Mendonça. The Torino SSA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamin de Mendonça should have stopped the shot. Gerrit Cronen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guilherme Rauh in the 38th minute. Guilherme Rauh in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gerrit Cronen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 41 played minutes Torino SSA got a freekick which was hit by Roger Galvan. Benjamin de Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Gerrit Cronen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
