After taking down the ball on Torino SSA's corner Guilherme Rauh fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Franco Garro quite easily take care of the ball. Franco Garro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizão Loureiro in the 45th minute of the match. Franco Garro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luizão Loureiro went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizão Loureiro in the 54th minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Franco Garro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Valdieri's goalkeeper Franco Garro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guilherme Rauh. Benjamin de Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paolo Garro went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 87th minute, Francesco Cieri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torino SSA's Beto Neves was substituted for Herbert Lindberg. Torino SSA's Benjamin Dias was substituted for Osvaldo Linhares. Torino SSA made a substitution. Denis Sasu replaced Roger Galvan. In the 90th minute, one of Torino SSA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Torino SSA. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Dias got free with Franco Garro in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 96 minutes into the game, Elias Saldanha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Torino SSA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valdieri the free kick. After 96 played minutes Torino SSA got a freekick which was hit by Elias Saldanha. When the referee blew the final whistle, Valdieri could leave the field as winners, despite Torino SSA having more of the ball for most of the match.
