After a rather tough play, Deportivo Mandiyu's Pipis Vattimos got a free kick in the 5th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Diego Tozzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acilia Town's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Tozzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eulalio Bastian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 8 minutes, Enzo Bermudo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Mandiyu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo Bermudo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Deportivo Mandiyu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pipis Vattimos in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute Scofield Vinciguerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Bastian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franco Ucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Bastian having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Pedro Benvido threw the ball into play from the sideline. Acilia Town's Robert Wojno quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of Deportivo Mandiyu booed when Acilia Town was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Ceballos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Acilia Town's goalie and right to Honorato Sancho. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Acilia Town's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Eulalio Bastian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Scofield Vinciguerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 31 minutes into the match, Scofield Vinciguerra notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Deportivo Mandiyu's Eulalio Bastian. Eulalio Bastian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ciro Moscatelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enzo Bermudo in the 36th minute. After the first half Acilia Town were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Dieguinho Tande made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mandiyu's goal looked a bit too open when Dieguinho Tande came free, but Eulalio Bastian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deportivo Mandiyu's Eulalio Bastian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Mandiyu from getting a goal against them. 58 minutes into the game, Deportivo Mandiyu's Zhu Bin Kun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciro Moscatelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. With a little luck, Deportivo Mandiyu's Eulalio Bastian got control of the ball when Dieguinho Tande tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ciro Moscatelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Bermudo in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of Acilia Town booed when Deportivo Mandiyu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ðura Snob didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th match minute, Deportivo Mandiyu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ðura Snob to maneuver through the defense. Acilia Town's Ciro Moscatelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhu Bin Kun in the 70th minute of play. He Le Ke charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed He Le Ke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Acilia Town's He Le Ke got a free kick in the 76th minute. It was beautiful to see Deportivo Mandiyu's Pedro Benvido in action when he in the 78th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After some careless play in the Deportivo Mandiyu defense, Franco Ucci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eulalio Bastian. The Deportivo Mandiyu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eulalio Bastian should have stopped the shot. Eulalio Bastian made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Dieguinho Tande sent off a good shot on target. When Roberto Cherro came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Deportivo Mandiyu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Cherro couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dieguinho Tande got free with Eulalio Bastian in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Alvaro Recoba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Acilia Town booed when Deportivo Mandiyu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Benvido didn't get a good kick on the ball.
