When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vinicio Medina made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Toader Valerian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Mihály Medgyesi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Deyan Tătăruşanu. Carp Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mihály Medgyesi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Lucjan Murdza kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Vinicio Medina kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zé Galvão. That made the score 2-2 in the 69 minute of play. In the 74th match minute, Pombal 2003 F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Stephen to maneuver through the defense. Deyan Tătăruşanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihály Medgyesi, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Zé Galvão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radomir Šiljak in the 91st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matei Cârstea got free with Zé Galvão in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pombal 2003 F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
