Duarte Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucjan Murdza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Carp Team were awarded a corner. Grga Mijatović went to the cornerflag to take it. Gustavo Brás charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustavo Brás the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. After a rather tough play, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Filinto Ferro got a free kick in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Vinicio Medina made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Carp Team's Vinicio Medina slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Duarte Duarte. That made the score 1-1 after 52 minutes of play. Deyan Tătăruşanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodolfo Lencastre's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucjan Murdza got free with Duarte Duarte in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd minute, Toader Valerian made a precise shot to the right of Duarte Duarte. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Carp Team's Nicu Stroici was substituted for Toader Valerian. After 85 played minutes CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Duarte.
