After a defensive mix-up in Mississauga DareDevils's zone, Daniel Tănăsocă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Paquette came out of the goal and Daniel Tănăsocă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Tănăsocă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 9 minutes of play, Mississauga DareDevils's Stig-Ove Alebeck made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Helmuth Duckadam was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Tănăsocă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Reynaldo Paquette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 played minutes, Vama Veche ™'s Traian Ghionaru shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Reynaldo Paquette came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vama Veche ™ reached it. Vama Veche ™'s Helmuth Duckadam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Ove Alebeck in the 17th minute of play. Basarab Pogea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Tănăsocă might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reynaldo Paquette. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Tănăsocă ran back to his position shaking his head. Helmuth Duckadam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Xiong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentin Xiong in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Helmuth Duckadam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Helmuth Duckadam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Xiong's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. The audience was convinced that Valentin Xiong's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Helmuth Duckadam was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Daniel Tănăsocă put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Reynaldo Paquette. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Dan Şoimaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vama Veche ™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Dan Şoimaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynaldo Paquette breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valentin Xiong made a kick off. Helmuth Duckadam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Xiong in the 51st minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Stig-Ove Alebeck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Helmuth Duckadam was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Giovanni Griggs fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mississauga DareDevils's protests and gave Giovanni Griggs a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd match minute, Mississauga DareDevils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanni Griggs to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Vama Veche ™'s Helmuth Duckadam got control of the ball when Stig-Ove Alebeck tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nistor Boacă hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Vama Veche ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Xiong came free, but Helmuth Duckadam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demarcus Mott in the 79th minute of play forced Vama Veche ™'s goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Helmuth Duckadam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Xiong in the 80th minute of the match. The Vama Veche ™ fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Vama Veche ™'s Daniel Tănăsocă looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Reynaldo Paquette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Şoimaru in the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th match minute, Mississauga DareDevils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stuart Turcotte to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th match minute, Vama Veche ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Șerban Ciociu to maneuver through the defense. Helmuth Duckadam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Demarcus Mott, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute, Ionel Sandu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Vama Veche ™ getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Nicu Bara hit a great ball. Giovanni Griggs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute.
