The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, 邓昆烽 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateo Medardo. Tama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 邓昆烽 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Tama's zone, Brandon Uchiha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Medardo came out of the goal and Brandon Uchiha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tiburcio Honrio hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, 邓昆烽 made a precise shot to the right of Mateo Medardo. Tama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 15th minute, Felipe Mino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hu Chao Hai. The goal made the score 1-2. 17 minutes into the match, Expresso Ranelagh's 邓昆烽 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mateo Medardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 邓昆烽 might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mateo Medardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 邓昆烽 ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd minute 邓昆烽 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Medardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brandon Uchiha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tama's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tiburcio Honrio in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Expresso Ranelagh's Prospero Paulin got a free kick in the 30th minute. Felipe Mino might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hu Chao Hai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Mino ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Expresso Ranelagh's zone, Elivélton Porto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hu Chao Hai came out of the goal and Elivélton Porto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Expresso Ranelagh's 邓昆烽 got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felipe Mino came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hu Chao Hai could save by the left post. Tama's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tiburcio Honrio in the 42nd minute. After taking down the ball on Tama's corner Tiburcio Honrio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hu Chao Hai quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by 邓昆烽 in the 46th minute of play forced Tama's goalkeeper Mateo Medardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Expresso Ranelagh were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 邓昆烽 was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Expresso Ranelagh got a corner. Tama's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Brandon Uchiha ran over to the corner to take the kick. Expresso Ranelagh's Hu Chao Hai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Mino in the 63rd minute of play. Felipe Mino scored 2-3 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hu Chao Hai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Urbano Ereinotz fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Expresso Ranelagh's protests and gave Urbano Ereinotz a yellow card for diving instead. Urbano Ereinotz kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Tama made a substitution. Simon Ferran replaced Felipe Mino. After 70 minutes of play, Expresso Ranelagh's 邓昆烽 made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateo Medardo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Expresso Ranelagh made a substitution. Sixto Gorbea replaced 邓昆烽. Expresso Ranelagh's Erki Uba was substituted for Tomasz Gorzkiewicz. In the 77th minute, Simon Ferran made a precise shot to the right of Hu Chao Hai. Expresso Ranelagh's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. A collision led to Tama getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Victorino Mogel hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, Tiburcio Honrio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hu Chao Hai was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-4. Hu Chao Hai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Lleir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 89 minutes, Sixto Gorbea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Expresso Ranelagh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixto Gorbea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the game, Armin Pocobello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Expresso Ranelagh the free kick. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
