Fúria Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sarmiento de Resistencia the free kick. 21 minutes into the game, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Romulo Sarmiento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Júlio Porto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Frank Campidelis took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernabe George. Bernabe George dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. A collision led to Fúria Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Evaristo Mesquita hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Agustin Cayo in the 39th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Júlio Porto's left hand side. 41 minutes into the game, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Esteban Lucian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Júlio Porto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Romulo Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernabe George showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Fúria Futebol Clube's Júlio Porto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Fúria Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Romulo Sarmiento did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-3 to the left of a surprised Júlio Porto 62 minutes into the match. In the 72ndth minute of the game Romulo Sarmiento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fúria Futebol Clube's Júlio Porto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Evaristo Mesquita got his second yellow card in the match during the 73rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 76th minute, Romulo Sarmiento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Fúria Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Júlio Porto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romulo Sarmiento. Luís Gustavo Carvalho hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Romulo Sarmiento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Júlio Porto made a huge save. Fúria Futebol Clube's Júlio Porto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Fúria Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Sarmiento de Resistencia's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
