Ziemowit Borcz started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Gortaty's Grzegorz Szamotulski got control of the ball when Jens-Erik Stephansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Undertakers FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Jens-Erik Stephansson hit a great ball. Gortaty's Grzegorz Szamotulski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Gortaty from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Altino Lameirinhas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Grzegorz Szamotulski was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens-Erik Stephansson got free with Grzegorz Szamotulski in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. But to his dismay, Jens-Erik Stephansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Franciszek Wicherek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cliff Thomas having to make a save. After 43 played minutes Gortaty got a freekick which was hit by Cezary Mosiniak. A hard shot by Thodoris Aggelou from long distance, 44 minutes into the match, got Grzegorz Szamotulski's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Cliff Thomas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ziemowit Borcz in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Altino Lameirinhas made a kick off. Grzegorz Szamotulski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Altino Lameirinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grzegorz Szamotulski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Altino Lameirinhas in the 55th minute of play. Bartlomiej Dlugi struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Cliff Thomas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gortaty. Gortaty's Grzegorz Szamotulski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Erik Stephansson in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Altino Lameirinhas in the 87th minute of play forced Gortaty's goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Jens-Erik Stephansson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Grzegorz Szamotulski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Grzegorz Szamotulski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Altino Lameirinhas in the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Undertakers FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gortaty had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
