An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Scifo in the 15th minute of play forced Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Otávio Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Enzo Scifo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 minutes, Enzo Scifo made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Icoara Football Club's Otávio Penha tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Erik Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Luís Islas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Enzo Scifo sped through Icoara Football Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Otávio Penha. It was a penalty for Las 3R Club De Fútbol! Luís Islas went to the wrong direction when Iuri Ortiz was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dito Ramos made a kick off. Luís Islas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Antunes in the 52nd minute of play. Luís Islas came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Icoara Football Club's Dito Ramos. But to his dismay, Dito Ramos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Josue Montemayor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Penha having to interfere. Adriano Vergílio charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adriano Vergílio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Icoara Football Club booed when Las 3R Club De Fútbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Osmundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Antunes in the 73rd minute of play forced Las 3R Club De Fútbol's goalkeeper Luís Islas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
