Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ted Almstedt started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Runa United booed when FC Dalin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thorvald Mansel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Dalin's goalkeeper Hoàng Tran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the FC Dalin defense, Ted Almstedt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hoàng Tran. The FC Dalin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hoàng Tran should have stopped the shot. Hoàng Tran made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Frank Brogren sent off a good shot on target. Runa United's Nils-Erik Åhlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trần Ritchell in the 14th minute of play. Ted Almstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ted Almstedt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Hoàng Tran when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Hoàng Tran managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Runa United's Ted Almstedt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Runa United's Nils-Erik Åhlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phạm Nguyet in the 22nd minute of play. With his leg Hoàng Tran managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Runa United's Ted Almstedt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Ted Almstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ted Almstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute Thorvald Mansel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Erik Åhlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Thorvald Mansel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Nils-Erik Åhlberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bo Eriksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ted Almstedt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hoàng Tran having to make a save. In the 37th minute of the match, Ted Almstedt tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hoàng Tran saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ted Almstedt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hoàng Tran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ted Almstedt got free with Hoàng Tran in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Trần Ritchell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Dalin's Hoàng Tran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save FC Dalin from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Trần Ritchell took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nils-Erik Åhlberg. Nils-Erik Åhlberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Runa United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Trần Ritchell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 86th minute Valentin Rydberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hoàng Tran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentin Rydberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Võ Hoai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harry Boumans scored 3-4 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hoàng Tran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Runa United getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Florian Fittipaldi hit a great ball. FC Dalin's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
