The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cao Rong Guang got free with Olov Linquist in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olov Linquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Gagriel, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. If Erik Odin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olov Linquist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ismael Gagriel's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Olov Linquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wit Kicia in the 21st minute of play. Olov Linquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Gagriel in the 22nd minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ismael Gagriel to strike the kick off in the second half. Olov Linquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wit Kicia in the 52nd minute of the match. AIF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ismael Gagriel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Smári Elin kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When Mugur Cotuțiu came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the AIF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mugur Cotuțiu couldn't finish the play.
