In the 12th minute, Leicester Foxes Academy's Alan Young dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Leicester Foxes Academy's goal looked a bit too open when 袁博阳 came free, but Hannes Sandwall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 袁博阳 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hannes Sandwall having to make a save. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Ericsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 龚凡洲 having to interfere. Theo Crossley charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Theo Crossley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes Leicester Foxes Academy got a freekick which was hit by Theo Crossley. 46 minutes into the match, Leicester Foxes Academy's goal looked a bit too open when 袁博阳 came free, but Hannes Sandwall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oscar Drake to make the kick off. Theo Crossley hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute Alan Young shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 龚凡洲 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Drake in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 龚凡洲 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 龚凡洲 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Young in the 59th minute of the match. Leicester Foxes Academy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Niles Andrews in the 60th minute. The corner led Leicester Foxes Academy's Niles Andrews to fire away a dangerous shot which 龚凡洲 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 69th minute Oscar Drake shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 龚凡洲 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Hannes Sandwall successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
