The audience was convinced that Asiz Rajah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomas Mambru was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asiz Rajah in the 9th minute of play forced Momentum FC's goalkeeper Tomas Mambru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Momentum FC's Tomas Mambru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Momentum FC from getting a goal against them. 11 minutes into the game, Wong Butcher recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tomas Mambru. Wong Butcher showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Momentum FC's Tomas Mambru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Momentum FC from getting a goal against them. Mark Koh in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tomas Mambru, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some careless play in the Momentum FC defense, Wong Butcher kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomas Mambru. The Momentum FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomas Mambru should have stopped the shot. In the 27th minute, Asiz Rajah made a precise shot to the right of Tomas Mambru. Momentum FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 31 minutes into the match, Momentum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Asiz Rajah came free, but Tomas Mambru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Mambru was a little too slow when Asiz Rajah got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 5-0. Tomas Mambru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khai Amin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Horacio Igon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute Muhammad Singh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Mambru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roque Tab kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Asiz Rajah notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Momentum FC's Tomas Mambru. Tomas Mambru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomas Mambru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhammad Singh in the 60th minute of play. Tomas Mambru came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Oakham's Wong Butcher. But to his dismay, Wong Butcher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Muhammad Singh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomas Mambru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Jonatan Maju sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oakham made a substitution. Gara Hock replaced Mark Koh. After some careless play in the Momentum FC defense, Khai Amin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomas Mambru. The Momentum FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomas Mambru should have stopped the shot. Tomas Mambru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wong Butcher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gara Chian came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Oakham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gara Chian couldn't finish the play. Roque Tab hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Momentum FC's Tomas Mambru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wong Butcher in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Oakham's Bineesh Soon got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Gregorio Gomesano might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bryan Hui. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregorio Gomesano ran back to his position shaking his head. Oakham walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
