The audience thought a goal was coming when Mats McNamara got free with Ezequiel Azeari in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonny McNamara hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Henning Berglund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Jerano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Sergio Jerano notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Wyoming Cowboys's Henning Berglund. With a little luck, Papillon AC's Ezequiel Azeari got control of the ball when Lanny Lilly tried to sneak it across the goal line.
