An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Birila in the 9th minute of play forced Steaua Noes Potable's goalkeeper Teofilo Lastras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustavo Birila hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Teofilo Lastras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Jerano, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo Birila in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teofilo Lastras prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ezequiel Azeari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Emmanuel in the 42nd minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Steaua Noes Potable's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Jerano came free, but Teofilo Lastras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Birila to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Papillon AC's Sergio Jerano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teofilo Lastras. That made the score 0-2 after 50 minutes of play. Teofilo Lastras acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 53rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fabian Caitano. If Baltasar Emmanuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 59thth minute of the game Gustavo Birila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Steaua Noes Potable's Teofilo Lastras was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 61st match minute, Papillon AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Caitano to maneuver through the defense. Teofilo Lastras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Birila in the 64th minute of the match. With his leg Teofilo Lastras managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Papillon AC's Gustavo Birila fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 67th play minutes Gustavo Birila shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Teofilo Lastras and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Gustavo Birila sped through Steaua Noes Potable's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Teofilo Lastras. Steaua Noes Potable's Teofilo Lastras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Birila in the 77th minute of play. Ezequiel Azeari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iordache Ghinescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Papillon AC's Gustavo Birila in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. It was a penalty for Steaua Noes Potable! After some careless play in the Steaua Noes Potable defense, Gustavo Birila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teofilo Lastras. The Steaua Noes Potable fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teofilo Lastras should have stopped the shot. Papillon AC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
