The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Los Andes's goal looked a bit too open when Gürol Demiroğlu came free, but Nana Lider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 minutes AUTO-DAX SANDOMIERZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jesus Nerio who took care of the corner kick. Ludomir Barys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Nana Lider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walery Lesiecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo-Nicolas De Paul, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute, Manuel Gentza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute, Claes Matsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nana Lider took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gürol Demiroğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jesus Nerio kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ludomir Barys made the kick off in the second half. Siro Betadur kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltazar Bomba in the 53rd minute of play forced Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper Nana Lider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ludomir Barys came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the AUTO-DAX SANDOMIERZ fans jumped to their feet. Club Atletico Los Andes's Nana Lider played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludomir Barys in the 62nd minute of play. Batu Cem Albay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Atletico Los Andes's Zinon Kalogerakis was substituted for Jesus Nerio. Siro Betadur hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Ludomir Barys managed to get in a good position for a shot. AUTO-DAX SANDOMIERZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Ludomir Barys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nana Lider breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
