Derrick Osborne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ask Stamnes having to interfere. Julio Kearney hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Derrick Osborne kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Hélio Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Tano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Tano in the 17th minute of play forced Marshrose's goalkeeper Hélio Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Heath Akins fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Hélio Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Tano, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Marshrose's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eliseo Cebo was slow to take the kick. During this time Boulogne F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Boulogne F.C.'s corner Modesto Tiso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hélio Arósio quite easily take care of the ball. Hélio Arósio came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Boulogne F.C.'s Modesto Tiso. But to his dismay, Modesto Tiso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ask Stamnes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heath Akins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boulogne F.C.'s Donato Trentini got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Amédée Gillis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ask Stamnes. Boulogne F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amédée Gillis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Marshrose's Hélio Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Trentini in the 39th minute of play. Marcelo Martins scored 1-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hélio Arósio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mauricio Tano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Hélio Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Boulogne F.C.'s Eliseo Cebo got a free kick in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mauricio Tano to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amédée Gillis in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ask Stamnes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Heath Akins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Blas Manni made a precise shot to the right of Hélio Arósio. Marshrose's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. If Heath Akins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Marshrose's zone, Marcelo Martins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélio Arósio came out of the goal and Marcelo Martins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute, Donato Trentini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 played minutes Boulogne F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Donato Trentini. In the 76th minute, Ma Zheng Yuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Boulogne F.C. booed when Marshrose was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ma Zheng Yuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Mauricio Tano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boulogne F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Mauricio Tano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. It was Eliseo Cebo who took care of the corner kick. 86 minutes into the game, Mauricio Tano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hélio Arósio. Mauricio Tano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. 89 minutes into the match, Marshrose's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Tano came free, but Hélio Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Marshrose's Heath Akins got a free kick in the 91st minute. Mauricio Tano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
