Hélio Arósio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Costin Lupoi in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute Amédée Gillis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nae Macamete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haidarchioi AS's Nae Macamete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walker Bird in the 35th minute of play. Nae Macamete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amédée Gillis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walker Bird in the 37th minute of play forced Haidarchioi AS's goalkeeper Nae Macamete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walker Bird fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nae Macamete having to interfere. Walker Bird scored 0-4 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nae Macamete, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Walker Bird had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Gelu Manolescu made the kick off in the second half. Nae Macamete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amédée Gillis in the 55th minute of the match. Nae Macamete was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Derrick Osborne showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 62 minute of play. After some careless play in the Haidarchioi AS defense, Heath Akins kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nae Macamete. The Haidarchioi AS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nae Macamete should have stopped the shot. Nae Macamete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walker Bird, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Derrick Osborne received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nae Macamete came out and tried to block the shot, but Derrick Osborne slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 69th minute. If Gelu Manolescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nae Macamete made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Amédée Gillis sent off a good shot on target. 90 minutes into the match, Walker Bird notched a goal, 0-12, to the right of Haidarchioi AS's Nae Macamete. Nae Macamete was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Gelu Manolescu fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haidarchioi AS's protests and gave Gelu Manolescu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Haidarchioi AS's Gelu Manolescu got a free kick in the 95th minute. Marshrose's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
