In the 5th minute, Róbson Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deivid Vergílio in the 11th minute of play forced PI FC's goalkeeper Romulo Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PI FC's Romulo Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeu do Nascimento in the 14th minute of play. If Israel Bittor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute Israel Bittor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Carlos Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Israel Bittor in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Carlos Britto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. PI FC's Romulo Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deivid Vergílio in the 28th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Froilan Niva made a precise shot to the right of Zé Carlos Britto. Pragmáticos 1903's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Quinteros in the 38th minute of play forced Pragmáticos 1903's goalkeeper Zé Carlos Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caio Barreto kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 41stth minute of the game Israel Bittor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pragmáticos 1903's Zé Carlos Britto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Quinteros made a kick off. Froilan Niva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Carlos Britto having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Mariano Quinteros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zé Carlos Britto. That made the score 0-2 in the 60 minute of play. In the 64th minute Mariano Quinteros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Carlos Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65thth minute of the game Deivid Vergílio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PI FC's Romulo Arce was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ismael Severo's late challenge caught a PI FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ismael Severo helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes Pragmáticos 1903 got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Severo. The supporters of PI FC booed when Pragmáticos 1903 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Pragmáticos 1903 getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Caio Barreto hit a great ball. Zé Carlos Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Bartolome in the 73rd minute of the match. Zé Carlos Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Bartolome, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Camilo Bartolome managed to get in a good position for a shot. PI FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Camilo Bartolome was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Carlos Britto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deivid Vergílio in the 80th minute of play forced PI FC's goalkeeper Romulo Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Bartolome hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camilo Bartolome got free with Zé Carlos Britto in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. PI FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
