Belmiro Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Vigil in the 26th minute of play. Gabriel Delassus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Belmiro Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tarcisio Luz in the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Horacio Sayveon hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Vigil in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Belmiro Montenegro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tarcisio Luz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. PEÇONHENTO FC MG's Barra Gol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tite Pombo in the 45th minute of play. Belmiro Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Vigil in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Vigil in the 52nd minute of play forced E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goalkeeper Belmiro Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, PEÇONHENTO FC MG's goalkeeper Barra Gol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tite Pombo. After 65 played minutes PEÇONHENTO FC MG got a freekick which was hit by Tarcisio Luz. The supporters of E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE booed when PEÇONHENTO FC MG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarcisio Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 68 minutes, Horacio Sayveon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horacio Sayveon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tarcisio Luz took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Belmiro Montenegro. Belmiro Montenegro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 77 minutes into the game, PEÇONHENTO FC MG's Peter Paul Crouch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Belmiro Montenegro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 91st minute, Peter Paul Crouch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PEÇONHENTO FC MG fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Tarcisio Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Belmiro Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
