Tomas Oliviero started the match with the kick off. Emanuel Persson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Oliviero in the 6th minute of play. Emanuel Persson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Oliviero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Guido Olentzaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emanuel Persson. UPAU FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guido Olentzaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Oliviero in the 18th minute of play forced UPAU FC's goalkeeper Emanuel Persson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Persson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Olentzaro in the 25th minute of the match. If Tomas Oliviero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Olentzaro in the 29th minute of play forced UPAU FC's goalkeeper Emanuel Persson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Persson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Oliviero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Guido Olentzaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Persson made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Guido Olentzaro sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute Tomas Oliviero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Persson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Léo Perez charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Léo Perez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th minute, Léo Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guido Olentzaro during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Grütly getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Guido Olentzaro hit a great ball. Remigio Edur hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Honorio Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Persson having to interfere. Emanuel Persson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Oliviero's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Ayrton in the 57th minute of play forced Grütly's goalkeeper Epifanio Boniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Grütly's Tomas Oliviero in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UPAU FC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Tomas Oliviero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Persson was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Edgardo Flor hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Grütly's Fidel Gomesano was substituted for Tadeo Frichoso. Grütly's Faustino Quintin was substituted for Guido Olentzaro. Emanuel Persson came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Grütly's Faustino Quintin. But to his dismay, Faustino Quintin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When Hans Ayrton came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the UPAU FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Ayrton couldn't finish the play. UPAU FC made a substitution. Danilo Porfirio replaced Edgardo Flor. Faustino Quintin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 75 minutes of play, Grütly's Honorio Torres made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Persson was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Oliviero in the 78th minute of play forced UPAU FC's goalkeeper Emanuel Persson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, UPAU FC's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Torres came free, but Emanuel Persson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 90 minutes, Hans Ayrton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UPAU FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Ayrton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
