Gonçalo Catarinense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Viriato Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viriato Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Man, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Viriato Cruz came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Sosnowe Klimaty's Denis Man. But to his dismay, Denis Man quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Viriato Cruz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Czeslaw Cwynar in the 7th minute. With an all-out effort, Sosnowe Klimaty's Viriato Cruz threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Denis Man, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Viriato Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Monteiro in the 15th minute of play. Kyriakos Georgopoulos struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Kryspin Cwynar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ. Viriato Cruz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sérgio Monteiro's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Kryspin Cwynar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egemen Tuna in the 26th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sérgio Monteiro in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Viriato Cruz saved ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ from getting behind. 35 minutes into the match, Sosnowe Klimaty's goal looked a bit too open when Thymios Pantoflaras came free, but Kryspin Cwynar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viriato Cruz made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Sérgio Monteiro sent off a good shot on target. Kryspin Cwynar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyriakos Georgopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Kyriakos Georgopoulos made the kick off in the second half. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Viriato Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Man in the 50th minute of play. In the 52nd minute of the match Sosnowe Klimaty got a corner. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Szymon Grajewski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sosnowe Klimaty's Szymon Grajewski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Viriato Cruz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Viriato Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Catarinense in the 56th minute of play. Czeslaw Cwynar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viriato Cruz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. If Sérgio Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Monteiro in the 70th minute of play forced ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's goalkeeper Viriato Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sérgio Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viriato Cruz having to interfere. After 78 minutes, Babbis Samiamidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ and the Sosnowe Klimaty players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 78 played minutes ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ got a freekick which was hit by Babbis Samiamidis. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Viriato Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Man in the 79th minute of play. Sosnowe Klimaty were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Szymon Grajewski took the corner. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viriato Cruz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 94 minutes into the match, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's goal looked a bit too open when Sérgio Monteiro came free, but Viriato Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sosnowe Klimaty fans cheered their team off the field, for while ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
