Gentil Macieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Pirmin in the 26th minute of the match. Januário Domingos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Normando Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 29thth minute of the game Ismael Baumer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AD Pontassolense's Gentil Macieira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the match, AD Pontassolense's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Pirmin came free, but Gentil Macieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismael Baumer in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gentil Macieira saved AD Pontassolense from getting behind. 38 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Pirmin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tierra del Fuego FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AD Pontassolense the free kick. Baltasar Francis hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Ismael Baumer charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ismael Baumer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of AD Pontassolense booed when Tierra del Fuego FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Baumer didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Januário Domingos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Celedonio Espiridion hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the game, AD Pontassolense's Giuseppe Catarinense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Natalio Heli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Tierra del Fuego FC's Natalio Heli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giuseppe Catarinense in the 61st minute of play. After having played for 63 minutes, Ismael Baumer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tierra del Fuego FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Baumer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Januário Domingos took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Natalio Heli. Natalio Heli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. AD Pontassolense's Albino Caetano was substituted for Normando Carvalho. Tierra del Fuego FC's Orlando Dabi was substituted for Ciriaco Fidencio. AD Pontassolense's Gentil Macieira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save AD Pontassolense from getting a goal against them. Tierra del Fuego FC were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after AD Pontassolense's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rodrigo Pirmin took the corner. If Nuno Madruga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Giuseppe Catarinense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Heli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natalio Heli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Januário Domingos, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. A throw-in in the 90th minute of the game was made by Albino Caetano with Januário Domingos as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Giuseppe Catarinense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Natalio Heli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. AD Pontassolense had won after a very even match.
