Leopoldo Medina started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Barrial FC's Cosme Raebert got control of the ball when Cláudio Prata tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Teodoro Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 played minutes Dedê Lara rounded Barrial FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. 21 minutes into the game, Cláudio Prata lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Cosme Raebert. 29 minutes into the match, Cláudio Prata had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cosme Raebert. Barrial FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cláudio Prata was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 34 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Medina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Juvenal Pimenta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 38 minutes into the match, Vasqueiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Medina came free, but Juvenal Pimenta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vasqueiro FC's Juvenal Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Medina in the 44th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Leopoldo Medina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrial FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Medina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juvenal Pimenta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cláudio Prata was the one to do the kick off. Cláudio Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Raebert having to interfere. Leopoldo Medina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th match minute, Barrial FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Medina to maneuver through the defense. Jeronimo Porfirio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Pimenta having to interfere. After 70 minutes, Cláudio Prata made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. Barrial FC's Cosme Raebert tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Barrial FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Leonides Guerau hit a great ball. Agnaldo Guerra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cosme Raebert. Barrial FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Prata in the 80th minute of play forced Barrial FC's goalkeeper Cosme Raebert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Teodoro Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agnaldo Guerra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cosme Raebert. Barrial FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cláudio Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Raebert having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cláudio Prata in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosme Raebert saved Barrial FC from getting behind. In the 93rd minute Leopoldo Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
