In the 4th minute Batuhan Modrić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olimpiu Hârlău saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ignacy Gonsiewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of BAŞBUĞ booed when Carpathian Wolves was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horia Omescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Carpathian Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Batuhan Modrić came free, but Olimpiu Hârlău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, BAŞBUĞ's Özdemir Otaç got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute, Batuhan Modrić made a precise shot to the right of Olimpiu Hârlău. Carpathian Wolves's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Olimpiu Hârlău showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batuhan Modrić, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, BAŞBUĞ's Özdemir Otaç got a free kick in the 24th minute. Olimpiu Hârlău made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batuhan Modrić in the 26th minute of play. Jens Huybreghts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avram Panaiteanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 29th minute of the game was made by Horia Omescu with Benny Beckenbauer as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After having played for 30 minutes, Ignacy Gonsiewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carpathian Wolves's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacy Gonsiewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Batuhan Modrić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olimpiu Hârlău read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Ignacy Gonsiewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Jens Huybreghts made a huge save. Olimpiu Hârlău made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batuhan Modrić in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th match minute, BAŞBUĞ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Güven to maneuver through the defense. Batuhan Modrić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olimpiu Hârlău took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batuhan Modrić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vedat Baray hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Mugur Timofte sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and BAŞBUĞ's Jens Huybreghts didn't even have to move. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

52 minutes into the match, Carpathian Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Batuhan Modrić came free, but Olimpiu Hârlău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens Huybreghts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeroen Jongsma in the 68th minute of play. BAŞBUĞ's Jens Huybreghts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeroen Jongsma in the 68th minute of play. When Jeroen Jongsma, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 68 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jens Huybreghts was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Batuhan Modrić might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olimpiu Hârlău. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Batuhan Modrić ran back to his position shaking his head. Olimpiu Hârlău showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batuhan Modrić in the 71st minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Batuhan Modrić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olimpiu Hârlău made an important save on a dangerous shot by Batuhan Modrić in the 81st minute. If Batuhan Modrić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to BAŞBUĞ getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Celalettin Akdemirci hit a great ball. In the 86th minute of the match Mugur Timofte sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jens Huybreghts skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacy Gonsiewski in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jens Huybreghts saved BAŞBUĞ from getting behind. Avram Panaiteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paul Chopin hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The BAŞBUĞ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
