Lucas Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egil Fagrell having to interfere. Kenny Ekeberg hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Gabi Gol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Egil Fagrell having to make a save. 8 minutes into the match, Karlsborg's goal looked a bit too open when Gabi Gol came free, but Egil Fagrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabi Gol in the 11th minute of play forced Karlsborg's goalkeeper Egil Fagrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aron Vikström charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aron Vikström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of América-SC F.C. booed when Karlsborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Vikström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabi Gol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egil Fagrell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Gabi Gol might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egil Fagrell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabi Gol ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34th minute América-SC F.C. were awarded a corner. Hílton Souza went to the cornerflag to take it. Gabi Gol hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Karlsborg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hílton Souza was slow to take the kick. During this time América-SC F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on América-SC F.C.'s corner Hílton Souza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Egil Fagrell quite easily take care of the ball. In the 42nd minute, Gabi Gol made a precise shot to the right of Egil Fagrell. Karlsborg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. A collision led to Karlsborg getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Aron Vikström hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gunnar Hellkvist was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Karlsborg's Aron Vikström got a free kick in the 51st minute. Gabi Gol might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egil Fagrell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabi Gol ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 54th minute Gabi Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Fagrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karlsborg's Egil Fagrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Arce in the 55th minute of play. Gabi Gol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Lucas Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot. After 84 minutes of play, América-SC F.C.'s Resul Erdemalp made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Egil Fagrell was left in no man's land by his defense there! Egil Fagrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hílton Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, Resul Erdemalp made a precise shot to the right of Egil Fagrell. Karlsborg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Resul Erdemalp took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Egil Fagrell. Egil Fagrell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Egil Fagrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Arce in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Karlsborg's goal looked a bit too open when Edson Faria came free, but Egil Fagrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egil Fagrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Resul Erdemalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. América-SC F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
