The Matos Velhos fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Matos Velhos's Joaquim Delgado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Falcão Favoretto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heigo Luiga in the 44th minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodoro Garcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Pacui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Leão to maneuver through the defense. Falcão Favoretto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 96 minutes into the match, Henrique Candal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Falcão Favoretto. Pacui's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henrique Candal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-18. When the final whistle sounded Matos Velhos left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pacui.
