The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Freddy Cordarrell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erubiel Osoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zézinho Lopez in the 6th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Hacha y Tiza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Lopez came free, but Erubiel Osoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hacha y Tiza FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emerson Tande was slow to take the kick. During this time Sport Club Mavericks's players had a chance to rest. Ambrosio Lalla thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Erubiel Osoro, a very annoying self made goal in the 11th minute which led to 0-1. A collision led to Sport Club Mavericks getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Serafim Toledo hit a great ball. Erubiel Osoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zézinho Lopez in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Freddy Cordarrell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erubiel Osoro. Hacha y Tiza FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Freddy Cordarrell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Freddy Cordarrell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erubiel Osoro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sport Club Mavericks's Emerson Tande got a free kick in the 24th minute. Hacha y Tiza FC's Erubiel Osoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Cordarrell in the 27th minute of play. Sport Club Mavericks's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emerson Tande in the 29th minute. A nice corner shot did that Serafim Toledo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erubiel Osoro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Freddy Cordarrell in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erubiel Osoro saved Hacha y Tiza FC from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's Freddy Cordarrell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erubiel Osoro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 39 minutes into the game, Jacinto Laurin threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sport Club Mavericks's Timmy Zander quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Erubiel Osoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Cordarrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hacha y Tiza FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emerson Tande was slow to take the kick. During this time Sport Club Mavericks's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Zézinho Lopez managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clemente Bihar to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Freddy Cordarrell reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erubiel Osoro. The goal made the score 0-4. 56 minutes into the game, Mauro Batista threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sport Club Mavericks's Conrado Sanches quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Erubiel Osoro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Freddy Cordarrell in the 57th minute. Sport Club Mavericks's Claudemiro Fragoso was substituted for Freddy Cordarrell. Claudemiro Fragoso succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 66th playminute. 70 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's Claudemiro Fragoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erubiel Osoro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 71 played minutes Hacha y Tiza FC got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Bihar. With a little luck, Hacha y Tiza FC's Erubiel Osoro got control of the ball when Claudemiro Fragoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zézinho Lopez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Erubiel Osoro made a huge save. If Fabricio Xabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atilano Millan made in the 80th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Mauro Batista. Hacha y Tiza FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Claudemiro Fragoso scored to the left of an out of position Erubiel Osoro, making the score, 0-7. Clemente Bihar kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atilano Millan during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Erubiel Osoro made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Zézinho Lopez sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by Atilano Millan in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sport Club Mavericks's Emerson Tande. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudemiro Fragoso in the 92nd minute of play forced Hacha y Tiza FC's goalkeeper Erubiel Osoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sport Club Mavericks's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emerson Tande in the 94th minute. The corner led Sport Club Mavericks's Emerson Tande to fire away a dangerous shot which Erubiel Osoro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Erubiel Osoro made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Claudemiro Fragoso sent off a good shot on target.
