An unexpectedly hard shot by Lamar Phua in the 10th minute of play forced JJTrips FC's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lamar Phua in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Paulo Valadares saved JJTrips FC from getting behind. 24 minutes into the match, JJTrips FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lamar Phua came free, but Zé Paulo Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Paulo Valadares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lamar Phua's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tolga İkbal got free with Everardo Blanco in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Lamar Phua managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.P.Q.R.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Lamar Phua was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Paulo Valadares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Everardo Blanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolga İkbal in the 36th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Garip Erseç threw the ball into play from the sideline. JJTrips FC's Cristiano Barral quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tolga İkbal scored 1-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Everardo Blanco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lamar Phua was the one to do the kick off. When S.P.Q.R.'s Lamar Phua in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye JJTrips FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 56th minute Duarte Abrantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Paulo Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. S.P.Q.R. were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after JJTrips FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Duarte Abrantes took the corner. The corner ended in Duarte Abrantes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but JJTrips FC's Zé Paulo Valadares did a great save. In the 63rd match minute, S.P.Q.R. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Abrantes to maneuver through the defense. Everardo Blanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolga İkbal in the 65th minute of play. Lamar Phua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zé Paulo Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lamar Phua, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Everardo Blanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sérgio Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lamar Phua who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Zé Paulo Valadares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lamar Phua made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 82ndth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Zé Paulo Valadares would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by JJTrips FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Duarte Abrantes was slow to take the kick. During this time S.P.Q.R.'s players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Duarte Abrantes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zé Paulo Valadares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tolga İkbal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zé Paulo Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sami Kazım in the 93rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Lamar Phua's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Paulo Valadares was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. JJTrips FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
