Cláudio Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Cutberto in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute of the match The Original Wonderteam got a corner. AKÇEŞMESPOR's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Giovanny Verhengen ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led The Original Wonderteam's Giovanny Verhengen to fire away a dangerous shot which Cláudio Taffarel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Don Mateo made in the 6th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gogo Chuse. Rafael Cutberto hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the AKÇEŞMESPOR defense, Rafael Cutberto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cláudio Taffarel. The AKÇEŞMESPOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cláudio Taffarel should have stopped the shot. Meriç Özsen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Philip Boffin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rafael Cutberto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cláudio Taffarel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natalio Centenales in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Philip Boffin saved The Original Wonderteam from getting behind. Gogo Chuse made a great header on AKÇEŞMESPOR's corner, it was just that The Original Wonderteam's Philip Boffin managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Cutberto in the 31st minute of play forced AKÇEŞMESPOR's goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute The Original Wonderteam were awarded a corner. Giovanny Verhengen went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Giovanny Verhengen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cláudio Taffarel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 41 minutes AKÇEŞMESPOR's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Giovanny Verhengen who took care of the corner kick. In the 43rd minute, Rafael Cutberto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Original Wonderteam fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Gogo Chuse got free in front of the goal in the 47th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Philip Boffin was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Cutberto to make the kick off. Philip Boffin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radoy Lagadov in the 52nd minute of play. Radoy Lagadov scored 1-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Philip Boffin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Cutberto got free with Cláudio Taffarel in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cláudio Taffarel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafael Cutberto went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 61 minutes into the game, Rafael Cutberto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cláudio Taffarel. Rafael Cutberto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. If Radoy Lagadov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 64th play minutes Meriç Özsen shot 2-4, a short shot which went by Philip Boffin and just under the crossbar into goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Rafael Cutberto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cláudio Taffarel. That made the score 2-5 in the 67 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Meriç Özsen in the 75th minute of play forced The Original Wonderteam's goalkeeper Philip Boffin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, The Original Wonderteam's Alek Candries dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-6. AKÇEŞMESPOR's Ersan Demiray was substituted for Radomir Brzeszczak. AKÇEŞMESPOR made a substitution. Kamber Demirbaş replaced Meriç Özsen. Alek Candries might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cláudio Taffarel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alek Candries ran back to his position shaking his head. 84 minutes into the match, AKÇEŞMESPOR's goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alek Candries. If Natalio Centenales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. After 95 minutes of play, AKÇEŞMESPOR's Kamber Demirbaş made it 3-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Philip Boffin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Original Wonderteam were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over AKÇEŞMESPOR's much stronger midfield.
