A collision led to AM United getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Nikos Christou hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodoro Freire made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Aybars Muhsin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Bastos was relentless in the 50th minute of the game. AM United's David Bastos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save AM United from getting a goal against them. 55 minutes into the match, AN&KARASİPAHİLER's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Freire came free, but Semih Ayyıldız reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aytuğ Çelen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Bastos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aybars Muhsin got free with David Bastos in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rd minute of the match AN&KARASİPAHİLER got a corner. AM United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Güngör Rasif ran over to the corner to take the kick. Semih Ayyıldız made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Freire in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of AN&KARASİPAHİLER booed when AM United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikos Christou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Efe Dervişoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After 95 played minutes AM United got a freekick which was hit by Müjdat Sait. When Güngör Rasif came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the AN&KARASİPAHİLER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Güngör Rasif couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AN&KARASİPAHİLER walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
