The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of TALLERES booed when Malvinas Argentinas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Richie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ermegildo Baristo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 24th minute Bennvar Björnfot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Baristo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ermegildo Baristo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bennvar Björnfot's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Nuxila in the 88th minute of play forced Malvinas Argentinas's goalkeeper Ermegildo Baristo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Malvinas Argentinas getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Feo Loramendi hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Serafin Quentin notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of TALLERES's Iker Medina. Iker Medina was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
