After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Fabian Băieșu managed to get in a good position for a shot. México Eterno MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Băieșu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urbano Havier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the match, México Eterno MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Leif Törnqvist came free, but Jailson Aparecido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Antonio Guillelme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jailson Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to México Eterno MZC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Reynaldo Sena hit a great ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind México Eterno MZC's goalkeeper Jailson Aparecido, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jailson Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif Törnqvist in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Lucas Hulk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The México Eterno MZC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Lucas Hulk received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Urbano Havier came out and tried to block the shot, but Lucas Hulk slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 36th minute. Urbano Havier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Hulk in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind México Eterno MZC's goalkeeper Jailson Aparecido, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jailson Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Isias in the 48th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas Hulk was the one to do the kick off. In the 75th minute, Leandro Chorche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, North of California's Hector Martxel got a free kick in the 81st minute. Urbano Havier came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by México Eterno MZC's Ezequiel Ortiz. But to his dismay, Ezequiel Ortiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Ezequiel Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ezequiel Ortiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Urbano Havier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Gaudencio Pancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Urbano Havier. North of California's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaudencio Pancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Ortiz in the 96th minute of play forced North of California's goalkeeper Urbano Havier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. México Eterno MZC had won after a very even match.
