An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Siong in the 19th minute of play forced SC Conceição's goalkeeper Flávio Terra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Nevares came free, but Muhammad Chan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SC Conceição's zone, Adam Seng stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flávio Terra came out of the goal and Adam Seng tried to chip the ball over his head. Stars's Muhammad Chan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Stars from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Stars's Muhammad Chan got control of the ball when Cristian Nevares tried to sneak it across the goal line. The wind increased when Jonathan Siong made the kick off in the second half.
