Muhammad Chan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel Haaland in the 4th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SPARROWS's Pavlin Pintev got a free kick in the 8th minute. If Lionel Haaland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muhammad Chan came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by SPARROWS's Karl-Michael Tinglöv. But to his dismay, Karl-Michael Tinglöv quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Muhammad Chan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lionel Haaland in the 18th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Jonathan Siong could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Vitko Hadzhiiliev however easily saved by the left post. In the 20th minute of the match Stars got a corner. SPARROWS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Claudinei Damião ran over to the corner to take the kick. Flóki Floki thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Vitko Hadzhiiliev, a very annoying self made goal in the 20th minute which led to 1-1. SPARROWS's Vitko Hadzhiiliev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Seng in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Adam Seng recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vitko Hadzhiiliev. Adam Seng showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 31st minute Rayko Tzolovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muhammad Chan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SPARROWS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pavlin Pintev in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aan 周瑜 in the 34th minute of play forced Stars's goalkeeper Muhammad Chan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Muhammad Chan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavlin Pintev in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute Karl-Michael Tinglöv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muhammad Chan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Michael Tinglöv was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lionel Haaland got free with Muhammad Chan in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vitko Hadzhiiliev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wen Ke Yan's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Stars's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Claudinei Damião in the 54th minute. A nice corner shot did that Bernt Willig got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vitko Hadzhiiliev quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Vitko Hadzhiiliev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wen Ke Yan in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to SPARROWS getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Pavlin Pintev hit a great ball. In the 66th minute Claudinei Damião shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitko Hadzhiiliev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SPARROWS's Vitko Hadzhiiliev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Månsson in the 69th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, SPARROWS's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Siong came free, but Vitko Hadzhiiliev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vitko Hadzhiiliev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Siong, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Stars fans cheered their team off the field, for while SPARROWS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
