Spectators: 3970 (Terracing: 2353, Seating: 1501, VIP seats: 116) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eero Uusipaavalniemi started the match with the kick off. Tadeu Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eero Uusipaavalniemi in the 2nd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Eero Uusipaavalniemi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manchester United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Tadeu Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davide Beckham in the 8th minute of play. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Eero Uusipaavalniemi sped through FC Alinborger Galați's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tadeu Moraes. 11 minutes into the game, Sever Munteanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Alinborger Galați's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manchester United FC the free kick. A collision led to FC Alinborger Galați getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Sever Munteanu hit a great ball. FC Alinborger Galați's Octav Zglimbea managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gary Neville in the 16 minute of the game. In the 18th minute, Octav Zglimbea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter Schmeichel was a little too slow when Cristi Miulescu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-2. 25 minutes into the match, FC Alinborger Galați's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Kuoppala came free, but Tadeu Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manchester United FC were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after FC Alinborger Galați's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eero Uusipaavalniemi took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Akseli Ilola got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tadeu Moraes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tadeu Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davide Beckham, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute Akseli Ilola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeu Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Alinborger Galați's Tadeu Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akseli Ilola in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Akseli Ilola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Tadeu Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 40 minutes into the match, Davide Beckham notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of FC Alinborger Galați's Tadeu Moraes. Tadeu Moraes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eero Uusipaavalniemi took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tadeu Moraes. Tadeu Moraes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-6.

The wind increased when Cristi Miulescu made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, FC Alinborger Galați's goal looked a bit too open when Davide Beckham came free, but Tadeu Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Davide Beckham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeu Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Manchester United FC's Akseli Ilola dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-9. If Davide Beckham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, FC Alinborger Galați's goal looked a bit too open when Eero Uusipaavalniemi came free, but Tadeu Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Beckham in the 76th minute of play forced FC Alinborger Galați's goalkeeper Tadeu Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, FC Alinborger Galați's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Valdemar Kuoppala fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 1-10 when Eero Uusipaavalniemi sped through FC Alinborger Galați's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tadeu Moraes. 82 minutes into the game, Taisto Pentsinen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tadeu Moraes. Taisto Pentsinen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-11. In the 85th minute, Eero Uusipaavalniemi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tadeu Moraes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-12. Tadeu Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eero Uusipaavalniemi in the 90th minute of the match. Davide Beckham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeu Moraes having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, FC Alinborger Galați's goalkeeper Tadeu Moraes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Akseli Ilola. Eero Uusipaavalniemi had several of the FC Alinborger Galați's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 94 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-13 score and a disappointed Tadeu Moraes as he didn't even see the shot coming. Octav Zglimbea hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Manchester United FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
