In the 12th minute of the match Felizberto EC got a corner. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Geraldo Prestes ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Felizberto EC's Jeferson Vale getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Ren Xiang Xun came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcus Sampaio could save by the left post. In the 23rd match minute, Felizberto EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulisses Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. Marcelinho de Castro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romulo Viator read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Löfkvist in the 34th minute of play forced OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Romulo Viator to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Su Shu Zhen got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Su Shu Zhen took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcus Sampaio. Marcus Sampaio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Felizberto EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Su Shu Zhen scored to the left of an out of position Marcus Sampaio, making the score, 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Felizberto EC's David Damião was substituted for Geraldo Prestes. Romulo Viator took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Damião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that David Damião's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romulo Viator was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Marcus Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 63 minutes into the game, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Kaká Carneiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felizberto EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. After 92 played minutes Felizberto EC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Luz. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
