Ralf Mattsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Toninelli went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Armando Toninelli scored 0-4 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ralf Mattsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ralf Mattsson came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Martesana Inter's Antonio Pinti. But to his dismay, Antonio Pinti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Alexander Julin hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lobster if's zone, Antonio Pinti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ralf Mattsson came out of the goal and Antonio Pinti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st match minute, Lobster if was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt Almkvist to maneuver through the defense. If Armando Toninelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Domina struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Ralf Mattsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martesana Inter. 27 minutes into the match, Lobster if's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Toninelli came free, but Ralf Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ralf Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Pinti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ralf Mattsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Toninelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The supporters of Lobster if booed when Martesana Inter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Ibañez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lobster if's goalkeeper Ralf Mattsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Lobster if players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Martesana Inter were winning 0-7.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fausto Fontana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Fausto Fontana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf Mattsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Cristiano Bomba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabio Domina took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ralf Mattsson. Ralf Mattsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. 58 minutes into the match, Lobster if's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Fontana came free, but Ralf Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
