After a defensive mix-up in Unicorns ™'s zone, Anatole Le Lay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corneliu Vulpăşin came out of the goal and Anatole Le Lay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anatole Le Lay scored 0-3 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anatole Le Lay in the 40th minute of the match. Jean-Yves Bayle hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Alex Răduț made the kick off in the second half. Corneliu Vulpăşin was a little too slow when Martial Haas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 50th minute. The score was now 0-4. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Anatole Le Lay took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Corneliu Vulpăşin to make any attempt to save it. 63 minutes into the match, Jean-Yves Bayle notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Unicorns ™'s Corneliu Vulpăşin. Corneliu Vulpăşin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Anatole Le Lay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anatole Le Lay took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Corneliu Vulpăşin. Corneliu Vulpăşin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. SILMONT made a substitution. Titouan Canal replaced Jean-Yves Bayle. After some careless play in the Unicorns ™ defense, Anatole Le Lay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin. The Unicorns ™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Corneliu Vulpăşin should have stopped the shot. 78 minutes in the game, Anatole Le Lay fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Corneliu Vulpăşin having to interfere. Jakub Pisarcik hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, SILMONT's Jakub Pisarcik got a free kick in the 81st minute. The supporters of Unicorns ™ booed when SILMONT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Titouan Canal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Omar Jakue's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Corneliu Vulpăşin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, SILMONT's Titouan Canal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Corneliu Vulpăşin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. Corneliu Vulpăşin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Omar Jakue in the 94th minute. SILMONT's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
