Agustin Goyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Ex Inferis's goalkeeper Agustin Goyo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Otsando Fierro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in the 43rd minute of play forced Ex Inferis's goalkeeper Agustin Goyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Ex Inferis's Fernandão Tande was substituted for Prudencio Senen. Ex Inferis's Agustin Goyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Agustin Goyo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Florencio Oier scored 5-2 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Willian Cuesta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ARES FC DeusDeFutbol fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ex Inferis had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
