The audience was convinced that Timmy Bergfeldt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aden Couzens was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. 21 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when August Hellström came free, but Aden Couzens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Wetterqvist Boys BK's Sten Norberg got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaf Snell came free, but Aden Couzens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Wetterqvist Boys BK's Jan-Olof Björk seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jan-Olof Björk the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Wetterqvist Boys BK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jan-Olof Björk had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Elderslie Magpies booed when Wetterqvist Boys BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Olof Björk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aden Couzens came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Wetterqvist Boys BK's August Hellström. But to his dismay, August Hellström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Steven Chaptal made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when August Hellström came free, but Aden Couzens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timmy Bergfeldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Aden Couzens made a huge save. Timmy Bergfeldts short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Aden Couzens to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 58 minutes, Burns Muller mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elderslie Magpies and the Wetterqvist Boys BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Burns Muller hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Wetterqvist Boys BK's Victor Ersman was substituted for Bertil Hellström. Sten Norberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aden Couzens having to make a save. Wetterqvist Boys BK made a substitution. Östen Holmberg replaced Sten Norberg. In the 70th minute Steven Chaptal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Åke Dahlqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 minutes Elderslie Magpies's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gustaf Snell who took care of the corner kick. Nils-Åke Dahlqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven Chaptal in the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Burns Muller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Burns Muller was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Elderslie Magpies getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Burns Muller hit a great ball. Timmy Bergfeldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aden Couzens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. When the match had been going on for 85 minutes, Wetterqvist Boys BK's Gustaf Snell got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Aden Couzens. Aden Couzens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Östen Holmberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Elderslie Magpies's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Östen Holmberg scored to the left of an out of position Aden Couzens, making the score, 0-3. Östen Holmberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aden Couzens having to interfere. Mateusz Klich charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mateusz Klich the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Elderslie Magpies getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. The Elderslie Magpies fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Wetterqvist Boys BK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
