After having played for 7 minutes, Alp Enginalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. istanbulls's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alp Enginalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alp Enginalp scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kenneth Knudsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 傅凌岚 kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 19 minutes of play, istanbulls's Luís Senna made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kenneth Knudsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Göksel Canfeda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 傅凌岚, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Alf Fredriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kenneth Knudsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Knudsen having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steve Triganza got free with Göksel Canfeda in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, istanbulls's Bogdan Cismarescu got a free kick in the 41st minute. Göksel Canfeda was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sindre Westerlund. With 43 minutes on the clock, Christian Dørum commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 45th minute there was a penalty for istanbulls. İsmail Doğa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kenneth Knudsen. 0-5. The AEK FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. istanbulls were winning 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 傅凌岚 to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, 任远兴 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Luís Senna took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Kenneth Knudsen to make any attempt to save it. Bogdan Cismarescu kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Kenneth Knudsen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kenneth Knudsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alp Enginalp in the 68th minute. Kenneth Knudsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Senna in the 74th minute of play. With a little luck, AEK FC's Kenneth Knudsen got control of the ball when Alp Enginalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alp Enginalp got free with Kenneth Knudsen in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th minute Haldun Özol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Knudsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kenneth Knudsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alp Enginalp took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kenneth Knudsen. Kenneth Knudsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Alp Enginalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Kenneth Knudsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Alp Enginalp could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Kenneth Knudsen however easily saved by the left post. 93 minutes into the match, istanbulls's goal looked a bit too open when 傅凌岚 came free, but Göksel Canfeda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 傅凌岚 in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Göksel Canfeda prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
