Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) Cássio Rocks made the kick off and thus started the match. Petre Encuțescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Remme in the 3rd minute of play. AEK FC's Kenneth Knudsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Rocks in the 7th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Júlio Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petre Encuțescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Remme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kenneth Knudsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Vaz in the 14th minute of play. Petre Encuțescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sindre Westerlund in the 15th minute. Jairo Sidro took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kenneth Knudsen. Kenneth Knudsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Cássio Rocks came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Zecku fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cássio Rocks couldn't finish the play. Erland Slyngstad struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Petre Encuțescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AEK FC. 34 minutes into the game, Isidoro Manilan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zecku's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AEK FC the free kick. In the 34th minute, Isidoro Manilan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petre Encuțescu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 35th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sindre Westerlund. Melchor Ceandro hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Kenneth Knudsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jairo Sidro went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 48th minute, Erland Slyngstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Steve Triganza made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Zecku's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Triganza came free, but Petre Encuțescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petre Encuțescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Remme, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Kenneth Knudsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivor Peake in the 57th minute. Zecku's Lisandro Vidal suffered a concussion after 57 minutes and had to leave the field. When Alf Fredriksson fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AEK FC's protests and gave Alf Fredriksson a yellow card for diving instead. Zecku made a substitution. Evaristo Millan replaced Lisandro Vidal. Alf Fredriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Kenneth Knudsen made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Ivor Peake sent off a good shot on target. Zecku's Jairo Sidro got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cássio Rocks in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kenneth Knudsen saved AEK FC from getting behind. Lars-Erik Angvik tried in the game's 67th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Kenneth Knudsen. An annoying self made goal, 0-4. Kenneth Knudsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Vaz in the 70th minute of play. Kenneth Knudsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cássio Rocks in the 77th minute. With a little luck, AEK FC's Kenneth Knudsen got control of the ball when Cássio Rocks tried to sneak it across the goal line. Petre Encuțescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Remme in the 79th minute of the match. A collision led to AEK FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Erland Slyngstad hit a great ball. Cássio Rocks had several of the AEK FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 83 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Kenneth Knudsen as he didn't even see the shot coming. Kenneth Knudsen didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 88th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. Petre Encuțescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Remme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zecku played a much better game than AEK FC and deserved their victory. The AEK FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
