Spectators: 7449 (Terracing: 5588, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tytus Ranowiecki made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of AKS Chorzów booed when Midtun Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Magnusson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roy Jama made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Tytus Ranowiecki sent off a good shot on target. Tadeusz Siembab hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 17th match minute, AKS Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olaf Sokol to maneuver through the defense. Roy Jama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbyszko Bartelak in the 20th minute of play. Tytus Ranowiecki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roy Jama read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Midtun Fc's Frank Tveter got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute of the match Aureliusz Majkowski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roy Jama skillfully saved the ball. Iwan Fafinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simen Larsson in the 31st minute of play. If Jo Øvstebø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aureliusz Majkowski struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Roy Jama didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AKS Chorzów.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Johannes Westberg was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Jo Øvstebø dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Iwan Fafinski, 0-2. After 55 minutes, Herbert Okraszewski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AKS Chorzów and the Midtun Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to AKS Chorzów getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Herbert Okraszewski hit a great ball. In the 60th minute Tytus Ranowiecki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy Jama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tytus Ranowiecki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Midtun Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Tytus Ranowiecki came free, but Roy Jama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Frank Tveter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Bård Hem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the game, AKS Chorzów's Tytus Ranowiecki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roy Jama made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Bård Hem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Iwan Fafinski made a huge save. Iwan Fafinski came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Midtun Fc's Jo Øvstebø. But to his dismay, Jo Øvstebø quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The AKS Chorzów fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Midtun Fc were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
