Natanael Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiquito Reyes, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Rogério Alagoano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Lopez having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério Alagoano in the 44th minute of play forced ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC's goalkeeper Murilo Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The coaching staff of Goiás Esporte Clube protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dong Xuan Xi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mathias Mesquita, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Goiás Esporte Clube's Natanael Paraense. 3-2. ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
