The HELVETIA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mazinho Fernandez should have stopped the shot. BRONCOS's Gorm Krejsgaard got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Güral Revan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mazinho Fernandez was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as BRONCOS's Güral Revan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mazinho Fernandez. That made the score 4-0 after 21 minutes of play. Hernani Botelho hit a great ball. Güral Revan struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Mazinho Fernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BRONCOS. In the 36th minute Güral Revan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazinho Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mazinho Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gorm Krejsgaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Güral Revan managed to get in a good position for a shot. BRONCOS's supporters rose to their feet, but Güral Revan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mazinho Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Güral Revan got free with Mazinho Fernandez in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
