Gard Bredesen started the match with the kick off. Andres Iniesta charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andres Iniesta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bendik Bekken in the 6th minute of play forced Guiñazú FC's goalkeeper Armando Monico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the game, POPODARA F.C's Gard Bredesen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Monico made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Guiñazú FC's Armando Monico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gard Bredesen in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, POPODARA F.C's Dimas Amaro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Monico made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 19 minutes into the match, Guiñazú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ådne Svensen came free, but Armando Monico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Revheim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Modrić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Modrić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thomas Revheim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. If Vladimiro Millan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. POPODARA F.C's Dimas Amaro got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ådne Svensen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Dimas Amaro made a precise shot to the right of Armando Monico. Guiñazú FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. With a little luck, POPODARA F.C's Thomas Revheim got control of the ball when Vladimiro Millan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th minute, Kristian Turøy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thomas Revheim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Gaza in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ali Modrić to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Ali Modrić's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomas Revheim was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Thomas Revheim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Millan in the 56th minute of play. Vladimiro Millan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thomas Revheim having to make a save. 60 minutes into the match, POPODARA F.C's Gard Bredesen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Monico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gard Bredesen scored 1-4 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armando Monico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Modrić in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Revheim saved POPODARA F.C from getting behind. Thomas Revheim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Millan, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guiñazú FC's goalkeeper Armando Monico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched POPODARA F.C eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
