The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zé Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xzavion Murguia in the 3rd minute of play. After 4 played minutes Saiko FC got a freekick which was hit by Josué Gonçalves. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Froiz in the 10th minute of play forced Saiko FC's goalkeeper Zé Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teofilo Lordi didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Saiko FC's Josué Gonçalves shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Froiz in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Sabóia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zé Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Froiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C. D. Evolucion's Teofilo Lordi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Bati in the 40th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Froiz in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Sabóia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 44 minutes into the match, Gabriel Bati dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Teofilo Lordi, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Zé Sabóia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alvaro Froiz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 53 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Froiz in the 80th minute of play forced Saiko FC's goalkeeper Zé Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th match minute, C. D. Evolucion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Moya to maneuver through the defense. Teofilo Lordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josué Gonçalves in the 88th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Anibal Encio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Anibal Encio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. The supporters of Saiko FC booed when C. D. Evolucion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Encio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flávio Capixaba struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Teofilo Lordi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saiko FC.
