In the 4th minute of the match Joaquim Freitas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Paulo Neves showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Recife in the 6th minute of play forced Inter Vik's goalkeeper José Paulo Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Inter Vik's Luisão Abreu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Betão de Amaral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Luisão Abreu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Betão de Amaral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Betão de Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iustin Dincă in the 25th minute. Iustin Dincă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão de Amaral having to interfere. Betão de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisão Abreu in the 31st minute of the match. Inter Vik were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after S.E. Cachoeirinha's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Achille Franceschini took the corner. After a rather tough play, Inter Vik's Alexander Rosi got a free kick in the 39th minute. Betão de Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Achille Franceschini, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Otávio Arce made a kick off. A collision led to S.E. Cachoeirinha getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Emanuel Secco hit a great ball. Luiz Moreira hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 57 played minutes S.E. Cachoeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Moreira. When Daniele Rizzo fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inter Vik's protests and gave Daniele Rizzo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Inter Vik getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Daniele Rizzo hit a great ball. After 59 played minutes S.E. Cachoeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Edinho Mello. Luisão Abreu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Betão de Amaral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Inter Vik were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after S.E. Cachoeirinha's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Achille Franceschini took the corner. Alvise Cinque scored 3-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Betão de Amaral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Betão de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisão Abreu in the 77th minute of the match. Inter Vik's Luisão Abreu got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Luisão Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Inter Vik's goal looked a bit too open when Otávio Arce came free, but José Paulo Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Paulo Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otávio Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Inter Vik fans cheered their team off the field, for while S.E. Cachoeirinha had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
